BB Cream vs CC Cream

BB Cream vs CC Cream

BB and CC cream is the most talked-about cosmetics in the beauty world these days. No matter which store you go to, BB or CC cream will catch your eye, in different brands, in different formulas, in different shades and at different prices. Looking at these creams, it seems that these are the specialities and what is the difference between them? That is the subject of today's writing.

BB Cream:

BB Cream is an acronym for Blemish Balm or Beauty Balm. When this cream was first made it was used for skin laser treatment. But now BB cream has been introduced in the market as a multi-tasker cream. According to the companies marketing BB cream, this cream is a combination of skincare and make-up ingredients. They claim that this cream will give you all-in-one skincare. This cream is a solution for everything from uneven skin colour to protecting the skin from the sun, preventing blemishes/acne/spots, moisturizing, preparing the skin for make-up, etc. The only downside to this is that there are not enough shades for any skin tone of this cream on the market.

CC Cream:

CC Cream is an acronym for Color Correction or Complexion Care. After BB cream, CC cream comes in the market mainly to fill the gaps of the previous one. CC Cream solves all these problems when users complain that BB Cream does not go with all skin tones, oils the skin, does not provide proper make-up coverage. Textures like CC cream mousse blend more beautifully and easily on the skin, it gives more make-up coverage than BB cream, lasts longer without oily skin. Speaking of ingredients, the manufacturers say CC is an ingredient added to the cream that will help increase the collagen in the skin. Collagen increases the smoothness, radiance, and longevity of skin cells.

BB Cream / CC Cream, how it works:

Literally BB Cream / CC Cream is a combination of foundation and sunscreen with a common moisturizer. This does not mean that they can be a moisturizer and sunscreen modifier for your daily use. Because the ingredients in it are not enough to protect you. Only you can use these creams instead of foundation. Even then, if you have dark spots on your face, there is no alternative to concealer. Both BB Cream / CC Cream works very well as a base primer for make-up.

- One of the downsides of BB Cream / CC Cream is that they only come in one or two shades that are supposed to blend in with all skin tones but can't.

- BB Cream / CC Cream is a very attractive product for girls and even boys because it is easy to use, multi-purpose, even for those who like a no-make-up look.

BB cream / CC cream goes on for a long time. Mix a little at a time all over the face. If you want a little more coverage, apply a second time. But keep in mind that if it becomes excessive, it will not mix in the face and will look like a reverse mask. So be careful about this. If you want BB cream / CC cream, you can also apply it with the help of a brush.
